The 2011 Project is a work by San Francisco artist Tofu. Each day in 2011 he created a 4”x4” mixed media piece. The finished project was made up of 365 smaller mixed media pieces. In 2013 the individual pieces will be distributed to project supporters. The color for the day is yellow. Yellow is a color that plays a lesser role in my palette but I want to make sure each color gets its day in the 2011 Project. This piece was made with some of the random yellow bits in my hoard of collage fodder. And, as I couldn’t help notice, yellow did seem to be the power color of the day.
