Pink Week

Pink is admittedly not the most common color in my palette.  But with 365 pieces for the 2011 Project, there were inevitably going to be a few pink pieces.  This one titled Keep This Coupon is going up to Sacramento for Pink Week.   

This year’s Pink Week show will be at Bows & Arrows at 1815 19^th Street in Sacramento.  The show opens November 2 with an opening reception from 6-9 p.m. and runs through December 5^th, 2012.

August 5, 2011 – State Fair Beauty Queen

One of my favorite parts of the summer is the trip up to Sacramento for the state fair. It’s always a fun day of people watching, corn dogs and other treats, exhibits and of course the animals. The goats are the best. As my friend pointed out, they are the farm animals most like dogs. They are friendly, smart and love people. I don’t know if this particular Oberhasli won any awards, but she was a big ole flirt and we’ll call her the State Fair Beauty Queen for 2011.
