The 2011 Project is a work by San Francisco artist Tofu. Each day in 2011 he created a 4”x4” mixed media piece. The finished project was made up of 365 smaller mixed media pieces. In 2013 the individual pieces will be distributed to project supporters. Another piece about pie, but don’t we all want a second piece of piece of pie? This time I used reproductions of vintage fruity wallpaper as well as an image of one of my great grandmother’s pie recipes in her own hand. It’s just about time to make her strawberry glazed pie. It was one of her favorites (and mine too).
